http://mychromefitness.com/blog/ What is it?
Self-care is the unusual (because we’re not used to doing it) but completely necessary thing we must do for ourselves each day to ensure that we are running at our peak performance; our best selves. It is comprised of things that we need in order to be fully nurtured and cared for so that we may care for others who might depend on us. This can be our family, friends or total strangers. If we do not care for ourselves first, we will have nothing to give to anyone else.
On this page, you will find videos, links, articles and personal stories to show you how myself and other’s give to ourselves so that we can be at our best and give back to you.
As I find them, I will post them, so there will be a regular exchange of great ideas here. And if you sign up for my free newsletter, http://dorothy6.com/private-occasions/ Inspired, you will always be informed of what’s new!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO START A PRODUCTIVE AND MOTIVATING MORNING OR DAILY ROUTINE
In this video that I have linked below, there is a powerful message about the benefits of a morning routine. Stefan Pylarinos of Project Life Mastery gives us an in-depth look at what he does each morning that has shaped his success and well-being. Pick and choose the things that resonate with you, or adapt the entire ritual into your life. After adopting some of these principles myself, I have never felt so productive or on track in my life.
AND, BECAUSE THERE IS NEVER JUST ONE RESOURCE FOR ANYTHING
Here is a much shorter video that is sure to motivate you to start your day off right. Drew Canole (pronounced like the Italian pastry) of FitLifeTV gives us a very to-the-point before bed and morning ritual that anyone can get behind.
Here’s an excellent article from the place where I first got my start in online contributing, tinybuddha.com, the first place that I ever submitted to and accepted me as a writer. I owe all of my courage and forever loyalty to Lori and her wonderful publication. This is a fantastic article from Ellen Bard (EllenBard.com) about that all important ritual, and almost exactly what I did myself: taking care of you.
